The 28 GHz RIS is our high-resolution platform for the mmWave and FR2 frequency range — designed for 5G FR2, 6G research, and experimental beamforming applications. The high element density enables fine-grained phase control for precise wavefront shaping.
Two sizes are available: the large-format RIS-28Mk1-32×32-1 with 1,024 elements on a 192 × 192 mm array is suited for demanding lab setups and anechoic chambers. The compact miniature module RIS-28Mk1-8×8-1 with 64 elements is ideal for first experiments, demonstrators, and confined test setups.
Typical Applications
- Wireless research – 5G FR2 and 6G testbeds
- Beamforming & MIMO – beam steering and multipath optimization in the mmWave band
- Localization & JCAS – positioning and joint communication & sensing
- NLOS scenarios – signal routing without line-of-sight
