3.6 GHz RIS

Modular, linearly polarized RIS for targeted optimization of radio coverage and signal quality in the 3 GHz band – without active amplifiers. For campus networks, lab environments, and field experiments.

3.6 GHz RIS

Our 3.6 GHz RIS is a modular, linearly polarized system for targeted optimization of radio coverage, signal quality, and multipath propagation in real environments — without active amplifiers.

Two variants are available: RIS-3Mk1-4×4-3 offers 8 phase steps with 45° resolution for fine-grained beam steering; RIS-3Mk1-4×4-1 uses 1-bit phase control (0°/180°) for simpler experiments. Both variants provide USB or PoE interfaces for seamless integration into existing campus network infrastructure.

Typical Applications

  • 5G campus networks – coverage optimization in production, logistics, and laboratories
  • NLOS scenarios – signal routing around obstacles without line-of-sight
  • Field tests in private 5G networks – practical experiments under real conditions
  • Communications research – reproducible channel manipulation for testbed setups
